The Bachelor of Commerce course requires students to complete a total of 360 credit points, which includes 8 core commerce units and at least one 8-unit commerce major or a 12-unit accounting major. Students may also choose another major, minors, or elective units to fulfill the credit requirements. For those selecting the Professional Practice major, the structure slightly differs: they complete six core units, the 8-unit Professional Practice major, an additional 8-unit commerce major, and two elective units. Students undertaking the 12-unit Accounting major cannot choose a second major except the Accounting and Finance double-major; instead, they must select a 4-unit minor or electives to complete their degree.In the first year, Semester 1 includes foundational units such as Foundations of Business, Accounting and Finance Essentials, Business Environments & Markets, and Work and Career, each worth 15 credit points. In Semester 2, students study Introduction to Business Analytics, Ethics and Responsibility in Business, and select two units from their chosen major, minor, or electives.During Year 2, Semester 1, students complete Professional Engagement and Planning alongside three units from their major or minor/electives. Semester 2 focuses on four units from the student’s major or minor/electives.In the final year, Semester 1 includes the Professional Practice unit along with three units from the major or minor/electives. Semester 2 completes the course with four units chosen from the major, minor, or electives.This structure allows students to tailor their studies to their career goals while gaining core business knowledge and professional skills throughout the degree.
