Course Curriculum

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary for a successful career in physiotherapy. The course consists of 28 core subjects totaling 248 credit points, with students opting for either a pass degree, which includes four additional subjects, or an Honours degree involving three subjects plus a dissertation. The course includes subjects that develop knowledge in psychology and community health, reflecting a holistic approach to patient care. Practical experience is a core component of the program, with multiple physiotherapy competency placements and a capstone placement that provide real-world clinical training under supervision, preparing students for the challenges of professional practice.Additionally, students complete an unrestricted elective, allowing them to expand their skill set beyond core physiotherapy subjects.
