Course Curriculum

The Master of Project Management emphasizes the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical application through project-based learning and hands-on exercises. Engineering units include Project Management, Risk and Reliability, Resource Planning, Portfolio and Program Management, Risk Management, and Negotiation and Dispute Resolution. These subjects provide students with the tools to lead multidisciplinary projects, manage uncertainty, and maintain quality control throughout a project’s lifecycle.The management units complement the technical aspects by focusing on strategic and organizational skills. Subjects such as Business Intelligence and Data Mining, Economics of Sustainability, Finance and Investment for Executives, Commercial Law, Strategic Management, and Human Centred Artificial Intelligence develop a holistic understanding of business operations and decision-making in project contexts.A distinctive feature of the program is the Professional Practice for Project Management unit, which involves 20 credit points of work-integrated learning. This placement enables students to gain valuable industry experience, build networks, and apply academic concepts to professional practice.Through a balance of theory, practice, and innovation, the Master of Project Management equips graduates with the expertise to manage projects strategically and sustainably, ensuring successful outcomes across industries.
