Course Curriculum

The Master of Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence) at CDU provides a comprehensive postgraduate program designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in artificial intelligence (AI) and related technologies. This 160-credit-point program combines core units and specialist elective options to ensure both a strong foundation in AI and opportunities for tailored exploration in areas of individual interest. Core units cover a wide range of essential topics, including software development, foundations of data science, database concepts, professional issues in technology, IT service management, project management, risk and reliability, machine learning, algorithms, operating systems, networks, cybersecurity, human-centred AI, natural language processing, and deep learning. The program also includes a dedicated AI practice unit, which provides hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating AI systems.
