These units provide a foundation in current educational debates and research skills essential for advanced study.Following the core units, students select one specialist stream comprising 60 credit points. The available specialisations are Digital Learning Futures, Inclusive Education, Indigenous Knowledges Education, International Education, Managing and Leading Education, TESOL, or University Teaching and Learning. Each stream offers a distinct combination of units tailored to developing expertise in that field. For example, the Digital Learning Futures stream focuses on emerging technologies, digital cultures, and mobile learning, while the Inclusive Education stream explores diversity, behaviour support, and inclusive policies.Students then complete 40 credit points from the Scholarship and Research Program, which provides opportunities to engage in academic research or professional practice. Options include completing a thesis, an internship, or professional conference activities. These components allow students to apply their learning in real-world or research-based settings, consolidating their academic and professional capabilities.Overall, the Master of Education combines theoretical depth with practical application, preparing graduates for leadership, research, and specialist roles across educational sectors.
