Students can tailor their studies through customised selections or choose from a range of specialisations, including Ecology, Landscape Restoration, and Geographical Information Science. Throughout the program, students develop a deep understanding of scientific theories and practical applications while gaining experience through professional practice components and field-based learning.The degree requires the successful completion of 240 credit points, encompassing core units, specialist electives, and general electives. Core studies introduce key scientific and analytical concepts through units such as Earth Systems, The Diversity of Life, and Design and Analysis of Biological Studies. Students undertaking specialist areas engage in more targeted studies, including environmental monitoring, ecological restoration, and spatial data analysis.
