The Bachelor of Engineering Honours is a 320-credit-point, four-year program offered on campus or fully online via distance learning, requiring reliable high-speed broadband. Mechanical features ENG212, ENG238 Manufacturing Technologies, ENG247 Fluid and Thermodynamics, ENG325, ENG338 Machine Design Principles, ENG364, ENG534 Dynamics of Engineering Systems, ENG576 Control Engineering, and applications in heat transfer, renewable energy, or turbomachinery.The final year integrates learning through ENG700 Concepts of Academic Research, ENG703 Concepts of Industry Research and Development, and either ENG751 Research and Design for Industry (20 cp) or ENG704 Engineering Research Thesis (20 cp), alongside a major design project. Honours level is calculated from research units and at least four ENG5xx specialist units. The 12-week placement ensures industry readiness and professional networking.
