The Bachelor of Business requires students to complete 240 credit points, offering a well-balanced blend of core units, specialist electives, and general electives. This structure is designed to equip students with strong foundational business knowledge while allowing them to specialise in their chosen field. The 12 core units (120 credit points) provide essential grounding in areas such as management, marketing, economics, law, accounting, entrepreneurship, business ethics, and global digital enterprise. Students will also develop communication, analytical, and cultural competency skills through units like Business and Communication Skills, Cultural Capabilities, and the final-year Business Project (Capstone).Beyond the core units, students can tailor their learning pathway through specialist electives, completing either a single major, a major with a minor, or a customised selection of business units. Majors are available in six key disciplines—Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Accounting, and Financial Management. Each major consists of 60 credit points of advanced study focusing on specialised skills, such as brand management, strategic leadership, financial analysis, or innovation design, depending on the chosen stream. Students seeking broader exposure can mix units across disciplines under the customised selection option. To further enhance flexibility, students can take between 20 and 60 credit points of general electives from any undergraduate program within the university. This enables them to explore other areas of interest or deepen their expertise in business-related fields. The course requires students to complete at least 60 credit points at the 300 level or higher and limits 100-level units to a maximum of 100 credit points. With its blend of theoretical and practical learning, the Bachelor of Business prepares graduates for leadership, management, and entrepreneurial roles across industries in both domestic and global contexts.
