Course Curriculum

Discover how each program is uniquely designed to inspire learning

In the Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) program, students begin their research preparation in Semester 1 by studying foundational subjects, including Multivariate Research Methods and Research Ethics, Human Experimental Psychology, and an elective. These subjects equip students with the methodological knowledge, ethical understanding, and analytical skills necessary to conduct advanced psychological research. In Semester 2, students continue building their research expertise by completing two additional foundational subjects: Principles of Psychological Assessment and Professional Psychology. During this semester, students also undertake and complete their thesis, applying their theoretical knowledge and research skills to an independent research project. This structure ensures that students gain comprehensive training in both the scientific and professional aspects of psychology, preparing them for further postgraduate study, supervised professional training, or a career in applied psychological research and practice.
