Course Curriculum

The Bachelor of Arts at Bond University is a flexible and intensive two-year full-time degree designed to allow students to tailor their studies according to their interests and career goals. The structure of the program includes three compulsory university core subjects that focus on developing essential skills such as critical thinking, ethical reasoning, leadership, and communication. Beyond the core, students can choose to structure their degree in one of two ways: either by completing a double major along with nine general elective subjects or by selecting a triple major alongside three general electives. This design allows students to explore a broad range of disciplines or to deepen their expertise in specific areas.The degree offers a wide variety of majors across several fields. Communication majors include Advertising, Cinema Journalism (available as a double major), Communication, Corporate Storytelling, Journalism, Public Relations, and Social Media. These majors are ideal for students interested in media, content creation, and strategic communication. Creative arts majors offer options such as Advertising Design & Production (double major), Digital Media, Film and Television, and Media Studies, allowing students to engage with storytelling through visual and digital platforms. For those interested in understanding global issues and philosophical thought, majors such as Global Studies (Sustainability), International Relations, and Philosophy are available. In the psychology, criminology, and social sciences stream, students can major in Counselling Interventions, Criminology, or Psychology, making this degree suitable for those aiming to work in human services, justice, or mental health fields.The program’s flexibility, combined with its accelerated structure, enables students to graduate in two years while developing a well-rounded and multidisciplinary education. Depending on their chosen majors, students can shape their study schedule to focus on communication, the arts, social sciences, or global and philosophical issues, setting a strong foundation for a wide range of career paths or further study.
