In Year 1, students learn the full 3D workflow, covering character design, modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, and rendering using industry-standard software. Foundational subjects include Screen Evolution, focusing on film and animation history and techniques, and Visual Storytelling, which introduces scriptwriting and storyboard creation. Students also choose electives such as Game Scripting, emphasizing programming for game design, or Concept Design, focusing on creating characters and environments. Alongside technical skills, students develop project management, presentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.Year 2 builds on this foundation with advanced subjects like Sound Design, teaching sound recording, editing, and implementation for film, animation, and games, and 3D Asset Development, where students refine modeling, rigging, and photogrammetry skills to create complex game assets. Electives include Level Design, focusing on game environments, and Screenwriting, which enhances narrative construction and screenplay development. Additional subjects such as VFX for Film and Technical Art introduce visual effects compositing and advanced game engine design, including particle effects and shaders. The year also covers Culture and Creativity, exploring theoretical and social aspects of media arts, helping students develop critical thinking and academic writing skills. In Year 3, the program prepares students for professional work with courses like Professional Freelancing, which covers business skills, legal issues, finance, and marketing for independent creative careers.
