COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with an Electrical Engineering major provides students with strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed for careers in modern engineering and technology industries. The core subjects, totaling 176 credit points, cover essential engineering areas such as engineering design, mechanics, mathematics, physics, materials, electrical systems, energy systems, computer-aided design, programming, and project management. Students also complete multiple engineering residency placements and capstone thesis projects, allowing them to gain valuable industry experience and apply their technical knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. The Electrical Engineering major consists of 64 credit points focused on the design, analysis, and operation of electrical and electronic systems. Students can further specialize through elective subjects in areas such as renewable energy engineering, applied photovoltaics, wireless communications, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence and machine learning, and scientific data analysis.
