COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business is delivered over three academic years and is structured to provide students with a progressive and integrated learning experience that combines foundational knowledge, analytical capability, and advanced strategic application. All subjects follow a consistent workload model of 12 hours per week, comprising three hours of timetabled lectures and tutorials and nine hours of independent study, supporting steady academic engagement and skill development. In Year 1 at Level 100, students establish essential business foundations through core subjects such as accounting for business, business information systems, international business, marketing, communication, and quantitative methods, alongside elective options that allow exploration of individual interests. Year 2 at Level 200 builds on this foundation by strengthening analytical, research, and management capabilities, with key subjects including data analytics, business research methods, international strategic management, entrepreneurship and innovation, and organisational behaviour and change management. Additional electives in this year provide flexibility for further specialisation. In Year 3 at Level 300, students focus on advanced and integrative business knowledge, studying business strategy, international marketing, global supply chain management, and leadership in a global context. The program culminates in a capstone project, enabling students to synthesise and apply their learning to real-world business challenges. Across all years, elective subjects allow students to tailor their studies to career aspirations, ensuring graduates develop strong business acumen, leadership skills, and practical experience for diverse professional roles.
